Pretty Cure, Shine Up! (プリキュア、シャインアップ！ Purikyua, Shain Appu!) is the official transformation phrase used by the Cures in Pretty Cure 5☆Reborn. In order to activate their transformation, they need their Crystal Brooches.

Kibo to Cure Starlight[]
Kibo shouts out "Pretty Cure, Shine Up!", and the Crystal Brooch opens up, revealing Kibo's face reflected in the mirror. She winks in the mirror, and beams of pink light shoot out from the mirror. The Crystal Brooch changes into a pink diamond-shape crystal, and butterfly wings emerge from it, and Kibo grabs it, and then places it on her chest, making her top appear. Ribbons of pink light circle around Kibo's hips, which forms her skirt. She then does a pirouette as ribbons of pink light circle her arms to create her gloves, and then raises her left foot, with ribbons of pink light circling around it to create her boot. Kibo smiles and blows a kiss, with a pink heart appearing. The pink heart rests on top of Kibo's head, and moves upwards as her hair grows longer, and then strikes a pose. She then lands on the ground and says her introduction before striking her final pose.
Jounetsu to Cure Flare[]
Jounetsu shouts out "Pretty Cure, Shine Up!", and the Crystal Brooch opens up, revealing Jounetsu's face reflected in the mirror. She winks in the mirror, and beams of red light shoot out from the mirror. The Crystal Brooch changes into a red diamond-shape crystal, and butterfly wings emerge from it, and Jounetsu grabs it, and then places it on her chest, and as she does so, fire appears and covers her body, then her dress appears. She claps her hands together to make her gloves appear in a flash of fire, and kicks to the side to make her boots appear, also in flashes of fire. Jounetsu does a front flip and falls from the sky, and her hair starts to change colour and turn into its new size. Jounetsu grabs a line of fire to make her feather-like clip appears from behind her ear, and then strikes a pose. She then lands on the ground and says her introduction before striking her final pose.
Kaori to Cure Sweet[]
Kaori shouts out "Pretty Cure, Shine Up!", and the Crystal Brooch opens up, revealing Kaori's face reflected in the mirror. She winks in the mirror, and beams of yellow light shoot out from the mirror. The Crystal Brooch changes into a yellow diamond-shape crystal, and butterfly wings emerge from it, and Kaori grabs it, and then places it on her chest. As she does so, she bounces around and her dress appears, and the flaps on the sides of her hips appear as well. Kaori raises her hands and hugs herself, and lets go, which makes her gloves appear. She spins around with beams of yellow light covering her legs, creating her boots. Kaori closes her eyes and spins around, and as she does so, her hair turns to a lighter yellow and grows longer, with the ribbons disappearing, and strikes a pose. She then lands on the ground and says her introduction before striking her final pose.
Hiromi to Cure Lotus[]
Hiromi shouts out "Pretty Cure, Shine Up!", and the Crystal Brooch opens up, revealing Hiromi's face reflected in the mirror. She winks in the mirror, and beams of green light shoot out from the mirror. The Crystal Brooch changes into a green diamond-shape crystal, and butterfly wings emerge from it, and Hiromi grabs it, then places it on her chest. As she does so, green leaves appear and form a circle around her, then engulfs her completely. Her dress appears and she raises her hands to make her gloves appear, and she taps her feet together, creating her boots. She places both hands behind her head, and then spreads it out, changing the colour and style of her hair. Her earrings appear and so does her headdress, and strikes a pose. She then lands on the ground and says her introduction before striking her final pose.
Kelly to Cure Sapphire[]
Kelly shouts out "Pretty Cure, Shine Up!", and the Crystal Brooch opens up, revealing Kelly's face reflected in the mirror. She winks in the mirror, and beams of blue light shoot out from the mirror. The Crystal Brooch changes into a blue diamond-shape crystal, and butterfly wings emerge from it, and Kelly grabs it, then places it on her chest. As she does so, streams of water appear and wrap around her waist, creating her belt, and then she dives into water, feet first. More streams of water appear and create her dress, and then wrap around her arms to create her gloves, then they wrap around her legs, making her boots appear. She then spins around, causing a whirlpool to surround her, and streams of water appear and change the colour and style of her hair. Her earrings appear and so does her headdress, and strikes a pose. She then lands on the ground and says her introduction before striking her final pose.
Group[]
Kibo, Jounetsu, Kaori, Hiromi and Kelly shout out "Pretty Cure, Shine Up!", and a Crystal Brooch (depending on who the episode focuses on) opens up, revealing the owner's face reflected in the mirror. She winks in the mirror, and beams of rainbow light shoot out from the mirror. Each of the five Crystal Brooches change into a diamond-shape crystal, and butterfly wings emerge from it, and the girls grab them, and then places them on their chests. Streams of water appear and wrap around Kelly's waist, creating her belt, and then she dives into water, feet first. Hiromi appears and green leaves appear and form a circle around her, then engulfs her completely, then she emerges with her dress on. Kaori appears and raises her hands and hugs herself, and lets go, which makes her gloves appear. Jounetsu appears and kicks to the side to make her boots appear, in flashes of fire. Kibo appears and smiles, then blows a kiss, with a pink heart appearing. The pink heart rests on top of Kibo's head, and moves upwards as her hair grows longer, and then strikes a pose. They then land on the ground and say their solo introductions before saying their group introduction.
