Princess Akuma (プリンセス悪魔 Purinsesu Akuma) is a young girl who appears to be a true princess. She is one of the antagonists in Pretty Cure 5☆Reborn. She is the daughter of Shadow and has the title "Twilight Princess". She often assumes a different appearance and goes by the name Yugure Akuma (夕暮れ悪魔 Yūgure Akuma) as a means of fitting in with the people of Yumekawa so that she can successfully track Pretty Cure's actions.
Personality[]
Princess Akuma is shown to be quiet and mysterious, however, she can be quite deadly in battle. She is also elegant and claims that someone who does not give in to defeat is "extremely embarrassing".
As Yugure Akuma, she is shown to be much kinder, and gentle. She loves helping others in need and is very loyal. She also gives out encouraging advice.

Princess Akuma has the ability to transform by using the phrase, "Twilight Change!", which allows her to transform from Princess Akuma to Yugure Akuma and vice-versa. She also has the ability to summon Kowaina monsters.
Etymology[]
Yugure (夕暮れ): Yugure translates to "twilight", obviously referring to her title as the "Twilight Princess".
Akuma (悪魔): Akuma translates to "demon". Her father, Shadow, mentioned that Akuma was a demon in battle.
